Common reasons people come to Newt Labs

Most people come to us with a situation, not a diagnosis

You do not need to know whether the problem sits in WordPress, a plugin, your hosting, or somewhere else. Start with what you can see, then use the closest route below.

Something is not working properly

Broken pages, errors, plugin conflicts, login problems, or features that have stopped working. For a specific fault, start with Website Repair.

There are security concerns

If your site has been hacked, infected, redirected, or shows signs of malware, start with Malware Removal.

The website feels slow or frustrating

Slow pages, poor loading times, or a site that feels heavy to use. If speed is the main problem, start with Speed Optimisation.

Changes, fixes, or updates keep piling up

For content, layout, or other clear website updates, start with Website Changes.

Website down or causing urgent disruption? See Emergency WordPress Support for help choosing between repair, malware removal and an urgent enquiry.

If none of these describes it neatly, tell us what is happening and we can help narrow it down.

Two main support routes

Choose between one-off help and ongoing care

Some businesses need help with one issue right now. Others want ongoing support from a team that can keep everything better looked after over time.

Move into a more joined-up long-term setup

Best if you want regular support, maintenance, security, performance, and hosting handled in a more joined-up way.

Good fit for: ongoing website upkeep, businesses that want fewer surprises, sites that need regular attention, and teams that want one dependable support partner.

You can start with one issue and move into ongoing care later if that becomes the right fit.

What WordPress support can include

What WordPress support can help you do

The right support depends on the situation. Sometimes the job is to solve a specific problem. Sometimes it is to improve the site, keep routine work moving, or put more dependable ongoing care in place.

A better long-term way to look after your website

A calmer way to look after your website long term

One-off help can solve the problem in front of you. If the website needs regular attention, ongoing care keeps support, maintenance, security, performance, and hosting easier to manage.

The aim is fewer loose ends, less back and forth, and a website that is easier to stay on top of.

One team that knows your website

Less repeating yourself and less time spent explaining the same issues to different people.

Less reactive firefighting

Regular checks and support help you stay on top of the website before small problems grow.

A more joined-up setup

Support, security, speed, and hosting are easier to manage when one team knows the whole setup.

More confidence over time

You know where to go when the website needs attention and have a clear routine for looking after it.

You do not need to commit to a long-term plan straight away. You can start with one issue first.

Not sure where it fits?

You do not need to choose the perfect service first

Some requests fit one route straight away. Others cross over repairs, changes, hosting, ongoing care, or larger project work. If yours is mixed or unclear, start with what you know.

1

Tell us what is happening

Describe the problem, task, or goal in plain English.

2

We help narrow down the type of support

We can help work out whether it fits one-off support, ongoing care, a larger project, or another route.

3

Move into the appropriate route

Once the fit is clearer, you can take the next step without trying to diagnose or scope everything yourself.

The Scope of Service is there if you want a clearer view of what usually fits each route.

Trusted by businesses that need dependable support

Trusted by businesses that want clear, dependable help

Good WordPress support is about more than the job itself. It also means clear communication, reliable follow-through, and knowing where to go when your website needs help.

“Newt Labs have been looking after our websites and hosting them for several years. I can't speak highly enough of them. Having worked with other web companies and not been very impressed I was delighted to discover one which gave such great customer service and had such good attention to detail. Quick to respond and definitely know their stuff.”

Diana Ruthven, Barrow Cadbury Trust

“The team at newt labs have been nothing but incredible when a site I was working with was largely abandoned by its ongoing host and admin. Newt took over a long standing legacy wordpress site, mirgrated it into their hosting with incomplete details, then updated, maintained, and solved a bunch of issues from bots capacity and compatibility that were crippling the site. Fantastic service, great team, do not nesitate to contact Newt if you're in a bind.”

These questions cover some of the things that are useful to know when you are deciding where to start.

Illustration of a friendly support agent helping with common WordPress questions beside an FAQ panel with question and check icons.
Do I need a monthly plan to get help?

No. You can start with one-off help for a specific issue, task, or change without signing up for ongoing care.

Do I need to choose a service before I contact you?

No. If you are not sure which service fits, explain what is happening with your website and we can help narrow down the most suitable route.

Can you help if my website is hosted elsewhere?

Yes. You can get support without moving your website to Newt Labs hosting. Managed hosting is also available if you later want hosting and support handled together.

What if I need several different things at once?

Tell us the full situation. If the work crosses one-off support, ongoing care, hosting, or project work, we can help work out which route makes the most sense.

What if the work turns out to be bigger than normal support?

Larger changes, custom work, rebuilds, and redesigns may be better handled as a Website Project. The Scope of Service also explains where different types of work usually fit.

If you are unsure which route fits, ask us and we can help you choose.
