Today we’re excited to announce the acquisition of inCharge and are thrilled to welcome their clients into the Newt Labs family.
Newt Labs will acquire the inCharge assets and clients, essentially taking over their hosting platform with a plan to move all sites over to Newt Labs bigger and better infrastructure later this year.
Newt Labs, founded in 2010, provides WordPress support, maintenance and hosting, with a focus on security and performance. Our fully managed solution ensures that clients know exactly where to turn to should they need any help when dealing with their WordPress website.
“inCharge offers an exciting opportunity for Newt Labs to strengthen and expand it’s client base” explains Steven Watts, founder of Newt Labs. “With a range of high profile and local clients, the acquisition of inCharge supports Newt Labs’ strategy of becoming a leading fully managed WordPress site care provider.
Julian Price, founder of inCharge, also commented “Newt Labs’ acquisition of inCharge’s client base provides a growth opportunity for their business, which helps towards their goal of being a leading provider of WordPress site care through an extended offering for our clients. As organizations continue to realise the need for technical support and site care after they have had a website built, Newt Labs will be best positioned to support them on their journey” Price will be pursuing another business venture but will provide as and when support to ensure a smooth transition and after care.
The expanded business will serve 70+ small to large businesses with their WordPress websites across the UK.
